After traveling a lot in the Americas, as well as in Europe, this was only my second time in Africa. The small but highly populated country of Malawi is known as the "The Warm Heart of Africa", and all my encounters proved this nickname to be an honest one. When arriving at the beautiful national park of Liwonde, I met a group of local kids from 5 to 15 years old. In these moments, my camera is a great icebreaker and enables me to interact and have fun with new encounters. Though these kids only spoke in Chichewa, we managed to speak in smiles, funny faces, and big laughs when playing all together with the camera. My camera is mostly an excuse to connect with people, and it works across borders.
