Ahh, this is a classic view of St. Hilda's abbey. I love the reflection in the pond, and that fabulous blue sky. I have stood in that exact same spot (directed there by the abbey guide, no less) to take a similar shot. I trust you approached the abbey via the 199 steps? BTW, on your visit, did you try the kippers??
