No Tuscany photo trip without the famous Podere Belvedere shot, right?
Knowing that this is a popular photo location, we scouted it the afternoon before and found out that the space for an unobstructed view is quite limited there.
When we came back the next morning (90 minutes before sunrise) we had the place to ourselves, just like the afternoon before.
Very shortly after our arrival hell broke loose, the crowd rushed in from every direction and within minutes the spot was packed with people: Asian women waving with black paper in front of their lenses (i guess they tried to darken the sky during the exposure), an american pensioner not liking the scenery in front of him (and telling everybody so), a workshop guide who preferred getting his own shut over instructing his students as soon as the clouds catched some colors and so on.
It really was a crazy mess as you can see in the video on my facebook page in the comments section:

Due to the heavy wind we hadn’t the fog we were hoping for, but the sunrise didn’t disappoint at all...
