Shot with the Tamron 70-300 mm PS DI VC @ 300 mm (450mm ff-eq), 1/40s. Remarkable that handhold at this focal length a real sharp capture can be produced. Obviously thanks to the fact that I was sitting on my knees and used the marvellous VC (Vibration Control) of Tamron. Thanks for looking

This one was far beyond my comfort zone. One has to make step so now and than ;). Thanks celine.

Excellent eye contact and detail. And I do like what you did with Photoshop, the light vignette. Worth the time, Pierre!

Thanks Garcie. The eye-contact was great, the sharpness couln't be better. But technically this capture was a disaster( forgot the right settings in the flow of the "session". That's why I started this "project". After some comments on my first processing this one turned outto become the result. Even totally worthless captures can be revived. Am I happy with that? I don't know.... Happy with the result, for sure.... Unhappy with the future and presence of photography. It still has so little to do with photography, one can see that every day in the lists of finalists aso. Maybe it's time for photography contests and PP contests; two differnet worlds mixed to a whole as if it's the same....

Thanks, I agree with you. It was that time one of my first huge sharp captures. A very important milestone to me.

Fantastic fox portrait, I love those animals, they have a beautiful radiance. You must have a steady hand. ;-)

Too often not.... hahaha. Yes foxes are beautiful. Thanks Joop. Maybe you can make some photos too in a couple of months. Hope to find them again.

You and I have a lot of similar interests only your photos are a much higher quality. Wildlife photography is what I enjoy the most but it is also the biggest challenge. Your work gives me inspirations to do better.

Indeed we have the same interest, but I don't agree with you that my level is much higher. I see one big difference, and that could be the clue to your next step: I always try to avoid that you can see that the picture is taken in the zoo. Fences are not done. I got captures with fences and birdcages on it, but I normally don't publish those. The other clue is practice and practice. I have a lot to learn too…
