This is the church of the Good Shepherd at Lake Tekapo, one of the bucket list landmarks of New Zealand. I ventured down before sunrise on a bitterly cold morning hoping to avoid the camera crazy crowds...wrong! Seems half the tourists in Tekapo had the same idea as myself. I did manage to score some shots without people in them, luckily this this is one of them. I arrived back at my hotel room frozen but watching the sun rise on this magic lake was well worth it!

Thank you Mick, I attempted to capture this church three times during my stay at Tekapo, for this I bade my time, waiting for others to pass by. It was definitely worth the snap frozen fingers! xxx

Thanks Stephen, this is a beautiful place to be. I did take some shots at sunset, but so many people around!
