Lindisfarne is an island off the North East coast of Northumberland in England. Twice a day the road is covered by the sea. There are flashing signs telling people when it is unsafe to cross, but you always get the odd ones who try to think they are clever and drive on. The people often have to be rescued by the lifeboat, and there car is swept away by the tide. The little hut on stilts is a refuge for people to shelter in until help comes.
