an iconic and moving work of superb art at the tower of London. I positioned the mouth of the "river" flow to appear as if it was coming out of the ramparts of the tower of London as the scene was so evocative. I desaturated parts of the scene in a move away from my usual true to life philosophy because I felt the image became even more compelling and evocative when I did so. Taken at night in the rain with a tripod. An unsightly crane in the background also removed. Something I virtually never do unless absolutely necessary. A slight vignette added to draw the eye further into the scene.

Excellent, very well done, it is a shame that they don't keep this displayed all the time to remind people of the real cost and futility of war...
