We waited 2 hours for the light to change as the sun set over Florence. Tourists flooded the Piazzale Michelangelo, all vying for the same spot to get the best photograph of the city. Eventually, we tried to move towards the exit, but I kept looking back as the sky turned darker and the city continued to glow. This was one of my last photos of the night--I'm pretty happy that I stuck around.
