Interesting! The flying sparks and the typical "indian hut fire" cought my eye. I also love the contrast in the royal blue night skies and the yellow and amber of the fire reflected on the sparks and people in the background. As a keen kite surfer, you might also like the scenery around Langebaan Lagoon on the West Coast of South Africa. I will soon post some photos that I took from the beach there. The New Years Eve celebrations provide an excellent opportunity for photographing fireworks on the Lagoon beach, even though I hate what it does to animals both domestic and wild (from the West Coast National Park across the Lagoon). On top of that is late August to the first week in September the flowering season of the wild flowers in the West Coast which provides spectacular scenery AND windy conditions that proves to be excellent for kite surfing. Would you take on the challenge?
