This is a high speed water and oil macro image. The trick with this type process is to keep the oil cold so it remains dense and reflexes slower during manipulation. If the oil becomes too warm then it thins and separates too easily. I may do a tutorial on this entire process later this winter at Tricycle Photography on Youtube. I generally don't shoot this type stuff until it's bitter cold outside and I have to have my photography fix, this is when I start experimenting and playing around inside. lol
