This is amazing! There is a similar lake on an island in South-East Qld, however it doesnt have all the rich undertones of this one! This is superb!!!!

Well, if you are in Alberta, the trail to these lakes is fairly easy. It's the grassi lakes trail near Canmore Alberta.

Thank you! It's the grassi lakes trail near Canmore Alberta. The trail actually is fairly easy if you aren't carrying a kyak on your head :) I don't recommend carrying a kyak on your head if you do this trail... It was really hard :)

Amazing image but warning to the paddler: Water near freezing is very treacherous and I see no lifejacket. The founder of the Patagonia brand, and expert kayaker and swimmer was with several others in a kayak group on still cold water like this. A wind knocked him overboard and even wearing a pfd, he wasn’t prepared for the sudden plung, inhaled water and drowned before anyone could get to him to help.
