My stepson is a commercial fisherman in Cordova, Alaska (you can't get there from here), and he took us out on Prince William Sound for a day of seining for Salmon. Hard work, beautiful scenery, new experience and a nice catch of Sockeye (red) Salmon. We spent the next two days filleting, smoking and canning our catch. Now I know 1st hand why smoked salmon costs what it costs, but nothing beats Copper River Salmon. Thank you fish for giving your lives for us! Thanks, Ty, for the experience!
