I love the bird watching the action totally not even flinching a muscle ! Not a muscle or feather in fear ! Both could be a seperate picture but you somehow masterfully combined two into one! Each species telling a story. How ever neither species seen in this photo could actually be a seperate picture now that I think more about it. I do have a question for you. When you took the shot what was your intended focus of the picture? I think in a quiet way yet powerful way the bird becomes the main subject and not the horses. Was that your intention? Great way to show the different powers and strengths of each species!

Thanks for your comment - my focus was to capture the horses and to be honest I didn't even notice the bird until I looked at the photo on my computer! These birds are always close to the horses and never seem to mind the action of the horses...
