This is how I almost lost the camera and my tripod, I set up my canon and go pro on the same tripod for a timelapse thinking the tide is going out only to realize it was coming in, my bad :) took off my canon and the next wave tried to steal the rest of my equipment, i was all wet after having to jump after it, then i just piled rocks on my tripod and watched how the camera and tripod got submerged for a while, this was one of the lucky shots I got in the process. it amazes me how the water has just barely stopped by the sun as if it was gently touching it.
