The photograph is from a very well known location in South of Iceland. This hauntingly beautiful rusting plane is a US Navy plane that crashed on the black sand beach in November 1973. It is still there, weathered by the unforgiving Icelandic climate. The day i visited this spot had a lot of clouds and not a lot of colors came through the clouds. So, i just went for the all time classic black and white look, which to be very frank, is looking very very unique. I had this very composition and idea in mind long before i made plans for this particular spot. I got what i wanted!
