Captured at: Bayard Cutting Arboretum, Great River, NY.

Pictured here is another dahlias that was captured last fall at the Bayard Cutting Arboretum's Dahlia Garden. I wanted to take this one in more of a creative direction with the addition of some glow and painterly effects to the center of this flower.

Bayard's dahlia garden is one of the finest on Long Island, and is typically in bloom from early September until approximately mid-late October -- or when the first frost of the season arrives.

The garden offers dahlias in all shapes, colors, and sizes, such as the one seen here.
