An Australian Terrestrial Orchid approximately 5 cm high, this Gnat Orchid was found in relatively untouched bushland near my home. Gnat Orchids flower in late Winter to early Spring. Nectar drips from the column onto the sepal below, forming a great platform for tiny insects to stop for a drink.
