The Milky Way shines prominently in this focus stacked pano, framed just below Arrival Heights, a protected area on Ross Island where science and observations to the landscape are actively happening. The dome structure on the ridge is a NASA array that communicates with safelights passing over head. Also in this shot is the planet Jupiter, frame left, Mars, frame right, and Saturn, which is hiding amongst the center our galaxy.
