On this day, my boyfriend surprised me with a perfect wine and cheese picnic in La Jolla, San Diego. Although it didn't kill the romance, the weather was quite dreary and grey. Little beknown to us, the most beautiful sunset I've ever witnessed to date was about to ensue. Twenty minutes before sunset, the sun finally broke from the clouds. Sunlight shot through the clouds like laser beams and the ocean came alive. The colors in the sky seemed magical, unrealistic. I'll never forget this day.
