Mid winter is a time of solitude and rejuvenation in Yellowstone National Park. The hot springs and bacteria mats in the run off trails are vivid against the snowy backdrop. I wanted to capture the vast, open spaces so stood in the snowstorm and shot a 5 vertical image panorama.
