Photo of the sunset off the coast of California through a smoke-filled sky caused by the wildfires burning all over the state during August-September 2020. As all the scientists agree, the frequency of these fires--already setting records throughout the Western states--is due to the effects of global warming and climate change, science that our current president regards as a hoax and refuses to enact legislation to help deter this inevitable threat to the entire planet and all living creatures on it, including the seagulls in this photo and the human taking the photo. The President's solution for the fires is to rake the leaves.
