Libby 01

Libby is an absolutely amazing little girl. After being rescued by my co-worker Lori in 2006, it took months of work to get her comfortable with people. Unfortunately in 2008, Lori passed away from Pancreatic cancer and despite her husband's hard work, Libby never learned to trust him. I was the lucky one who also bonded with her and she has lived with my husband and I for 5 years. She has grown so much and this photo shows how relaxed she's become. It was a lot of work and totally worth it.
