On the coldest day of 2019, after several days of extreme weather, Victoria had just been completely blanketed by a record snowfall. Naturally, I headed out in search of a shot that would make perfect use of the adverse weather that we were dealing with. I knew just the spot, I had scouted this location some time ago and loved the way the green moss has almost completely enveloped this pier. When I saw it I knew I would need some special weather to contrast the moss in the foreground. So I patiently waited until a snowy day to give me the blue & purple clouds I was looking for.
