The area around Vík í Mýrdal in the south is already known for high waves and strong breakers - now there were days of storms, so of course it was even more interesting. In addition, the light conditions were very exciting: one sleet followed the other, in between it ripped open for a few minutes and the sun made the cloud wall of the next shower appear even more threatening. It wasn't easy to get this picture, because the wind kept blowing sand and sleet at me at about 100 km/h...
