Thank you. Yes, it's a real live starling. I was trying for an Edgar Allen Poe vibe, but there aren't any ravens in my yard. I waited for a cloudy day with drizzle and lured birds into the scene with dried meal worms. I also had some robins, bluebirds and a squirrel show up. I snapped pictures over a 2 hour period and chose the poses I liked the best.
