A cute little weasel emerging from it's hollowed out tree trunk home. Rarely seen and often described as the villain, these perfect little predators can take down an adult rabbit several times its size. They have a complex social system with other weasels, much like many predators, they will use scent marking around the area they patrol, but not to the same severity of larger hunters like cats. It is more likely just to say "I'm hunting here, move on" or "Hey I'm in heat, come find me".
They will hunt over very large ranges, travelling up to 2.5km in a single trip. Mostly hunting small rodents and birds, but they will eat large insects, fish and carrion that they have stored for later. I have even seen footage of a weasel chowing down on a deer carcass!
