Hairstyles is an essential part of portrait photography, like lighting and make up, hairstyles can make or brake a photo shoot. A special thanks to friend and professional photographer Laura Austin for her collaboration as a guest judge. Laura Austin stumbled into photography as a way to share her experiences with others, as is the case for most people who pick up a camera for the first time. But now instead of just bringing her camera places, Laura’s camera has brought around the world. With her insatiable appetite for travel, she spends a lot of time on the road, usually ending up in interesting locations with interesting people. Camera at her side at all times, Laura’s photos tend to be spontaneous documentation of travels when not shooting for clients. Laura’s goal is to inspire others to go out and experience the world for themselves.
