All the ViewBug staff is ecstatic to see all the amazing submissions to Your Choice Photo Contest – why is this competition special? The winning photo will be shortly displayed @ the ViewBug HQs! Thank you to all the photographers that share their outstanding work.

Also, we truly appreciate the participation of Brandon Campeaux, judge of this photo competition. Brandon Campeaux is a Creative Director based in Portland. Brandon’s clients include Twentieth Century Fox, Paramount/DreamWorks, MGM, Warner Brothers, NBC Universal, Sony Pictures Television, Apple, GAP, Nike, Mattel, and many more. Brandon is film snob and has sworn off all forms of digital photography. He currently shoots experimental analog. In a past life, he taught photography-based courses like colour theory.

“The only things that eliminated this image from the top two were the crop and altitude of the camera. Because this was an ‘enhanced photo’ contest I felt it deserved inclusion in the top three as multiple long-exposures, stitching, and expert curve control across several layers are required to produce a vibrant galaxy shot such as this.” – Brandon

Being creative through photography is a constant challenge, this is why we strive to promote unique techniques and ideas through the photo contests.
