I really like this. It doesn't take much to get a pretty picture of pretty things. In this one it's all about the composition and the lighting. I keep wanting to look at it.

this was back in the day i was still shooting a broken pentax K-1000, so i had to guess at the exposure, but luckily i guessed right. i couldn't afford a light meter or a better camera, so i trained myself to see light values.

from the kind of mystery this abandoned chair and walking stick held. i set them up in a well lit area and made sure i liked how the shadows looked. it was super muddy out there, so i was a mess by the time i got it where i wanted it.

well thank you! i originally had it set up with a friend modeling in it, she sat in the chair and held the "scepter," but i realized that somehow, she was just a distraction from the scene itself.
