Location
I took the photo in a port of the northern-most part of the Philippines, called Sabtang Island, Batanes. Due to its accessibility, the island is somehow virgin to tourists and kept its natural beauty from pollutants.Time
This photo is memorable to me because I was unhappy at the same time amused by the scenery of the island, unfortunately it was the last day of the tour. This was taken between 3-4 o' clock in the afternoon, on the first week of March 2015.Lighting
I love natural lighting in my photos. When taking a photos, I am always chasing the sun. You can tell the time through the shadows of the photo and especially when you are featuring water, the glare of lights reflecting to it that you can see the water clearly.Equipment
For this photo, I was only equipped with my phone Samsung Galaxy Note 4 with my steady hands and capture the moment worth remembering.Inspiration
This is a remembrance from the tour and I wanted to share the photo to my family for them to travel around the Philippines especially in Batanes because it was the birthplace of my grandfather.Editing
I usually do editings in my photos. But for me, it is picture perfect. Just the way I wanted to have. No filterings or anything. The shades of blue is present with a touch of whites and greys to balance the whole product. I love it. But any suggestions to enhance the photo, please do. I am open to anything and I am still learning photography. In my camera bag
For now, I am only still using my phone to capture photos that interests me like architecture, landscape, nature and human behaviors. In fact, I am looking for a dslr like Nikon D5500 for beginners and gopro for water activities.Feedback
For me, I was just in the right place and at the right moment of time. And when you see that, just press click and you know already that the outcome of the photo is what you were expecting to be and more.
