This is a very powerful image and, as a photoshop composite, it is well put together. I have browsed through your other photos and I think you are a very talented photographer. That being said, I'm having trouble understanding why the judges chose this photo as the winner of the architecture challenge, when nothing about the building and the photograph as a whole is based on reality. Again, the photo is beautiful, I just don't think it should have won this specific challenge. I understand this website is more for fun, but I was wondering if anyone else agrees with me?

ne1410s (November 24, 2008)
I definitely agree. Though this is cool, it isn't real, and can't really be the winner of an architectural photography challenge, can it?

karenr (November 24, 2008)
Nice job. Congratulations on your award.

dvoted2dance4him (November 25, 2008)
congrats, I love the photo

lindakb (November 25, 2008)
I'm sorry billyho333, that you feel my shot shouldn't be the winning shot. There was no mention of realistic shots only in the description of the challenge.

i would like to see what the original image looks like. i'm sure it would be just as good. because the most striking feature to this photo is the amount of contrast and how it's well balanced.

azcricket (November 26, 2008)
