I'm sad to say, the Mustang featured above, Jingle Bob passed away last week. This mustang has touched so many people, and this image alone has brought me so much attention. I just captured their bond...RIP Jingle Bob, you will never be forgotten!! Please pray for this family, Thank you all for your love and support!

Luckily I am very close with this performer, this was taken in his arena on a Texas Ranch. In no way was this posed, in fact he did not even realize I was shooting.Time
This was shot on a late afternoon.Lighting
I like to shoot during the golden hour when the light is not as harsh. This however was not planned.Equipment

Watching this amazing performer, Bobby Kerr, is just inspiring in itself. Nothing is better than being able to see him at his home, without the fans. It allowed me to capture the pure raw emotion, and friendship he has with his mustang Jingle Bob, featured here. I've wanted a wild mustang for a long time...as seen here, from wild to completely trusting, that bond is just amazing to me, and being able to capture it just makes what I do worth it.Editing
For this image I post-processed in Lightroom 5, I honestly didn't have to do much, just switched it to black and white with a hint of blue...This is the way I usually do my black and white, I think the blue makes it unique in a way. Then just your usual touch ups, contrast, and adjusted the levels a bit.In my camera bag

I really enjoy lifestyle photography. The raw emotion expressed when your subject is doing something they truly love, will always give you better images, than trying to pose them. It's real, it tells a story...Go behind the scenes...try different compositions, as you can see I was down low on the same level as my subject. The small f-stop, makes your eyes focus on Bobby's hand reaching to pet Jingle Bob on the nose, and gives the background a nice blur.
