Location
This photo was taken in Schwerin at a place called "Seglerheim". We had some really really cold weeks here as never before. All over this palce was ice, everywhere. On the ground, on the walls, everywhere. It was really amazing, cause mother nature never left such results here.Time
Just after i woke up, packed by gear and wanted to take some serious shots of the sunrise in that area, but there wasn't a nice sunrise, just ice. Everywhere. ;-)Lighting
Nothing special here, just a long exposure.Equipment
This was shot with my Canon 6D and a Tokina 11-16mm wide angle lens, mounted on my Manfrotto tripod. And for this long exposure i've used a some ND filters to be able to expose for up to 30 seconds.Inspiration
The ice inspired me. It was everywhere, as i already said. ;)Editing
Nothing special in post processing. I just adjusted the color balance, darkened the sky a bit so match the ground. Adjusted sharpness and Whitebalance. In my camera bag
In general i use my Canon 6D for all my shots. My favourite lens at this time is my 50mm Sigma ART prime lens. But when it comes to landscapes (at day or night) i always carry my Tokina 11-16mm wide angle lens with me along with some ND filters. At last but not least, my 105mm Sigma Macro for my flower macros.Feedback
Be inspired. Practice and shoot. Everybody should develop his style on themselve. There are many awesome photographers that give incredible inspiration.
