Thank you! I used a mix of LR & PS especially to remove some of the snow over my daughters face that was distracting from her expression. :)

Location
In my Kansas backyard.Time
Evening in December right before sunset.Lighting
It was a overcast day due to the winter snowfall so the lightning was perfect.Equipment
Sony a77 with a Tamron 70-200mm f/2.8. Handheld and no flash, I had just gotten this lens and wanted to try it out.Inspiration
I was testing out my new Tamron 70-200mm f/2.8 lens so my daughter was the perfect subject along with a winter Kansas snowfall. I gave her a colorful scarf to put over her curly hair so there would some bolder colors in the image because it was a very overcast grey setting.Editing
I used a mix of Lightroom and Photoshop to bold up the colors and touch up the snow over her face. Some of the flakes that fell on her face were distracting from her adorable expression and I really wanted her little smirk and eyes to be the main focus. In my camera bag
I typically have my Sony DSLR-SLT A77 along with at least one of my two Sony external flashes (you never know when you may need that extra light). You will also find three of my favorite lenses in my bag at all times, a 70-200mm f/2.8, 50mm f/1.8, and a 18-70mm f/3.5. My lenses are a mixture of Sony & Tamron. My camera bag is never complete without my Sekonic light meter and I love my grey card available for every lighting situation.Feedback
Have patience when working with small children and snow.
