Very dramatic! However... too me... all little too powerful... Reminds me of suicidal thoughts. Not sure if you've ever felt them... but if you haven't, good job with completely channelling that feeling!...

I've been told by a couple of people before that while they like the photo from a technical sense, they are uncomfortable with the feeling the photo evokes, so you're not alone there. Obviously, the women is in a bad place based purely on her posture, but I wanted the entire setting to feel that way. The room and the lighting is all meant to compound together, so I can definitely see how that can build the intensity to the point where it may be uncomfortable. I think the fact that the photo can evoke such a wide spectrum of emotions by drawing from each viewer's personal experiences or knowledge makes it a unique piece and one of my favorites that I've shot.
