Hannah The Sheltie @ The Animal Shelter

Mid Missouri Human Society Animal Shelter This animal shelter is a private non-profit organization. They are dedicated to the prevention of cruelty to animals. They need any and all donations to keep the doors open. They are in CONSTANT of bleach, kitty litter, dog food treats, cat food and treats, blankets (don’t throw away your old and tattered ones PLEASE donate them to the animal shelters), laundry detergent and of course CASH. If you have time, even an hour, volunteer. You could just walk the dogs if nothing else. If you are looking for a pet please check with your local shelters for a one that would be so grateful for a loving home. On this day of this photo shoot I did volunteer along with dozens from a local youth church group. Here is a link to Pet Finders Thank you. http://www.petfinder.com/awo/e-gift.cgi Click here for Humane Society Story.

Very commendable effort! He looks so lonely and scared! Hate the way people just abandon these poor little guys!

This is so sad! On Long Island where I live, the people that are running these facilities are abusing our animals themselves. It was all over the news here. They wouldn't let the volunteers into the animal shelter because of the abuse.

How horrible! Like these little ones have not been through enough! Did they string the bad people up by their toes?

DianePic (June 13, 2011)
They had to picket in front of town hall to save these animals. Thank God there are people who really care.
KarenRoberts (June 13, 2011)
Thank God for sure! Some bad creeps sure can make a living Hel* for some good animals and people. Glad the picketers were successful!
