I love this photo. Both girls seem completely engaged in what they are doing. I love the way one of them is leaning into the other.

Location
I took it in front of our house on the street.Time
It was late afternoon as far as I remember. It was my son's second birthday.Lighting
Only natural light. No flash or reflectors.Equipment
This was taken with a Sony A7 and Samyang 85mm 1.4Inspiration
It was taken very spontaneously. I wasn't planing on taking my kids out in a pouring rain. But they were going crazy inside so I agreed on putting rain cotes and rain boots and taking a short walk. They were running in the puddles first and then I saw my son holding a rock in one hand and the umbrella in the other one. I asked my niece to join him under the umbrella. They stood there together looking so adorable for a couple of minutes giving me enough time to find the right angle and composition.Editing
Yes I did some post-processing including adding detail and colors into the sky, lightening and darkening, color correction, sharpening. In my camera bag
I have ma Sony A7 and two lenses: 85mm 1.4 for outdoors and 50mm 1.4 for indoors. Also a lot of things for the kids like extra clothes, toys, drinks.Feedback
Moments like this one happen very rarely so you have to be ready and take your camera with you even if you think there is no chance of capturing something nice today. When you are working with kids so young you can't expect them to pose. You can try to convince them into doing something that you would like. But it's best not to push them but try to know what they like and be there at the right moment with your camera.
