Behind The Lens

Location

In a desert near Shiraz in Iran.

Time

This was shot very close to sunset while the whole place was bathed in this beautiful golden light.

Lighting

I wanted to create a lot of different layers to the lights and shadows, this is why I played with spot brushes.

Equipment

This was shot on a canon 6d on a 70-200mm f 2.8 also from canon

Inspiration

This was on my longest journey, travelling over land from Germany to India. Everything about the trip was inspiring.

Editing

I did do some post processing, in particular adjusting the light, contrast.

In my camera bag

Nowadays a Sony a7iii a 24-70 f 2.8 and a 70-200 f 4. Also some filters and a flash.
