Location
I took this photo under the Stone Bridge that connects the Christ Church Cathedral with the Synod Hall in Dublin, Ireland.Time
It is late in the evening, just about a couple of minutes before the sky would get completely dark. I'd say it's the best time to shoot the street because of the traffic lights from cars and trams.Lighting
The lamps illuminate the street, whereas the area under the bridge is dark. I made the traffic lights the central piece of the picture.Equipment
Nikon d90 with a wide range Nikkon Zoom lens and a Benro Travel Angel tripod.Inspiration
I was looking for a combination of light and dark to give some magical movement to a photo.Editing
The basic RAW post-process.In my camera bag
I think, the fewer the better. So, I usually carry only the necessary: one zoom lens, one light tripod, a couple of spare batteries and memory cards to last the whole day.Feedback
It might be a good idea to position the camera as low as possible, so that the traffic lights fill the image.
