I really like this photo, however I feel that seeing either the rocks or the reflection on their own may make it even better

Location
This my picture was taken in Italy, in Piedmont... During a workshop about landscape photography. The location is in front of one of the most famous mountains of the Alps ; the Monviso.Time
I remember that to get to the pond we had to walk for about 45 minutes; say a nice walk / hike in the mountains. We arrived around 6 pm and had to wait until 8:20 pm before he started the sunset. This photo was taken at the end of June, around 9.00 pm Shame about the bad luck, the cold and some wind did not allow us to find the mirror water.Lighting
The photo was taken almost as if, I have tried to recover some shadows in the foreground and spice colors. The oblique light on the tip of monviso is the touch that Mother Nature wanted to show me, delighting !Equipment
This was shot with a Nikon D700, Nikon 18-35 f 3.5-4.5 g, manfrotto tripod and two lee gnd filters.Inspiration
I love scenery and try to grasp the wonder that nature gives us every day. I accidentally discovered this workshop and I decided to participate, and I must say that my decision was perfect. I learned many interesting things and I could apply what I have learned, in a wonderful place.Editing
This shot is composo from a single image; the sunset was quite strong, but with the help of filters gnd I could expose correctly the first floor and the second floor. I tried to recover the shadows of the foreground and enhanced colors of the grass and rocks in the foreground. In my camera bag
I always carry my nikon d700, a 18-35 f 3.5 - 4.5 nikkor and a Nikkor 80-200 f 2.8. The Manfrotto tripod, a series of filters Lee gnd. Bigstopper and the little stopper Lee. My backpack lowenpro great because compact and lightweight yet roomy.Feedback
Not much to say ! If you love landscape photography you'll understand how it feels to be there at that time .. joy , adventure , cold , passion , tenacity .. The best way is to plan before the shot so be prepared to find , in the right place at the right time ..
