Behind The Lens

Location

This picture was taken in Lincoln Zoo, en Chicago.The idea was to visit the Zoo whit my children, then I brought my camara to take photos of them, at the end of day I take more photos of the animals of Zoo, and this is one of them. The best of that day...was that I enjoy my children and also mi great passion photograprhy ESPANOL Fue tomada en el Zoologico Lincoln, en Chicago. La idea era visitar el Zoo junto a mis hijos...asi que aproveche y lleve mi mochila de fotografia...al final del dia termine tomamdo mas fotos de los animales que de mis hijos...lo mejor del dia fue que lo disfrute por partida doble ...con mis hijos y mi passion por la fotografia.

Time

I remember the day was cloudy, what more likely it would be that I took it at noon...by the way the rhinos was separate, the male alone and the mother and his baby in other place...and they kept it together most of the time...I take several pics and I liked this. I believe that represents love in human beings on this planet. ESPANOL Recuerdo que era un dia nublado cuando llegamos, pero al medio dia ya estaba medio nublado...cuando llegamos al lugar de los rinos, estos estaban separados. el macho de un lado y la hembra con su bebe en el otro, estos se mantenian juntos, entonces espere a que una nube bloqueara al sol y tome varias fotos. Y esta fue la que mas me gusto, ya que representa para mi el amor en todos los seres vivientes en este planeta.

Lighting

The day was cloudy ideal for photography, so I take my long lens, my camera and I stared my search. When we arriving with the rhinos the climate was half cloudy, so I waiting for a cloud to block the sun and when that happen I shoot my camera. ESPANOL La ilumunacion fue solo con la luz ambiente del momento, en ese momento al estar nublado la luz era igual en todo el area y ya que los rinos estaban a una distancia mediana de mi, no hice mas que ajustar mi aperture y velocidad, y tomar la fotografia.

Equipment

My canon eos camera, 70-300 4.5 macro, sigma, lens,tripod,neutral density filter. ESPANOL Mi camara Canon eos, el lente fue un Sigma 70-300 4.5 macro, tripode, filtro polarizador Sunpak.

Inspiration

Actually the wait was the inspiration, family fun and several good photos. And I think the key in this photography was waiting for the moment to take a picture. ESPANOL En esta ocacion la inspiracion vino en el momento, solo espere por la major pose de ellos y no hice mas que disparar mi camara.

Editing

The basic photoshop elements 12...But I think, that enough to make a good photo. ESPANOL El basico Photoshop Elements 12, lo basico pero suficiente para hacer, creo yo una Buena foto.

In my camera bag

.My equipment I always carry whit me...the Canon Eos Rebel which accompanies me many years, the lenses are the basic 28-80 3.5 Canon, a 28-135 3.5 sigma macro, and other sigma 70-300 zomm 4.5, a Polarizing filter this is mandatory,a younguo II flash, also to a Seconik L-358 lightmeter and two memory cards. ESPANOL El equipo que siempre cargo en mi mochila ...Mi camara Canon Eos Rebel (la cual a estado conmigo hace muchos anos),Los lentes son, el standar 28-80 mm Canon, Sigma 28-135 3.5 macro, Sigma 70-300 zomm, Sunpak CPL es basico, Flash youngnuo II, sekonic L-358 medidor de luz y dos tarjetas de memoria.
