The Horton Mill Covered Bridge in one of just a few covered bridges left standing in Blount County, Alabama. In the early 2000s the bridge was vandalized when someone used a pick-up truck and wench and tried to pull the bridge apart. I took this photo shortly have the bridge was repaired and reopened in April 2013.
