I was amazed at the diving pelicans - how they didn't crash into each other or the harbor seals that were playing in the surf. As they came in at such speed and force, I thought I would never capture what I was seeing before me. I gave it at try and, to my delight, this is what I came up with.Editing

Normally, since I photograph mostly birds, I just take my 7D with my attached 300mm Canon lens, along with my extra battery and disk. The remaining gear typically is left at home.Feedback
Being an amateur, I don't have any revolutionary advice. Just keep trying, keep practicing, and take chances on seemingly impossible shots!
