Behind The Lens
Location
I took this photo out the front yard of a house i used to live in. A friend had brought his puppy "Vanilla" over to show her off to all his friends as she was to small to leave home or so he said.Time
This image was taken about 11 o'clock in the day the sun was above our heads.Lighting
There where a few clouds in the sky but not to many and that helped take the harsh sun light out of the picture.Equipment
All i had at this point in time was a Cannon 12 mp point and shoot camera my younger brother sent me from America. I was laying on my stomach on the ground at eye height to keep Vanilla interested.Inspiration
Her beautiful big eyes and that puppy grin was all the inspiration i needed to capture her.Editing
In lightroom the only thing i did was lighten the image just a little that was all.In my camera bag
I now have a Canon 700d with a couple of after market Sigma lenses 70-200, 50mm, a nice Wide angle lens and various filters. A good Manfrotto tripod makes a big difference. Spare batteries with a good range of cleaning gear is also a must, all contained in a Lowpro backpack.Feedback
Viewbug for me is not only a place to show people my photo's but also inspires me to get out and try different things, to try different compositions and different ideas other photographers have captured and make them my own. The rage and diversity of the photographers on Viewbug is mind blowing and inspires me to do my best with what i have. Cause "My Best is My Best".
