This is just a random snap of my friend. We were in my apartment just drinking coffe with some other friends. I thought she looks interesting in that hat and her eyes was always a bit sad so I asked her to pose for me.Time
I think it was early afternoon. Not sure anymore.Lighting
Just a window light. I set manual exposure to preserve the shadows.Equipment
Just a Canon 6D and 50mm 1.8 (plastic fantastic). No other equipment.Inspiration
As I said in first question, she just looked interesting because the hat was emphasized her "sad" eyes and I just asked her to pose for me.Editing
Sure, but subtle. Just a mild skin retouch, shadow/highlights and bw conversion (silver efex i think)In my camera bag
These days I have two slr bodies: Canon 5d mk4 and old Canon 6d, two speedlite flashes, Canon 24-70 2.8, Sigma 35 1.4, Canon 85 1.8 and accesories. I like to pack light and don't really see need for ton of equipment.Feedback
Just use soft window light and properly measure your exposure. Frame it and boom! :)
