Location
This was taken in one of the rare basements in Wellington, New Zealand. Actually under a company's premises, called "Wellington Chocolate Factory"Time
It was around 3 PMLighting
I only used the existing artificial light within this basement. It gave some creepyish whiteish light, exaggerating the existing colors of bricks peeping through cracks and mossy green algae on the walls where they were moist of condensation.Equipment
Canon EOS 6d, Sigma 15 mm f2.8 fisheye, no distortion correction, tripodInspiration
I like places which are abandoned or rarely used, eerie environments which look like a ghost can peek around the next corner. This location seemed perfect to me.Editing

Just look for basements, attics, abandoned buildings (but ask the owners for permission and be careful in abandoned buildings). Some places look better at night time, but sun rise and set can cast very interesting lighting through windows etc. Look around, many places are around your familiar areas, just hidden from public view. This counts actually for most motives.
