this is way too much!, an armoured cameleon?, one can almost see the eyes.....i humbly state, "yeah,thats not the capture i wanted!", and deflate, then i run across images that stop me in my tracts...thank you stoking the fire..

Behind The Lens
Location
I took the Sydney Opera House from the overseas terminal side of Sydney harbour during the 2013 Vivid FestivalTime
It was taken at around 9.30pmLighting
The Opera house was illuminated at the time by a projection to music onto the Opera House sail.Equipment
I used a Nikon D800e and my 35-70mm f2.8 lens which is wickedly sharp for a lens made in 1983.Inspiration
I was inspired by the colour and excitement generated by the occasion.Editing
The image was shot in RAW, processed in Camera Raw to adjust the highlights and shadow, I added a high pass filter in Photoshop CS6 to complete it.In my camera bag
I normally carry a range of lense, my favourite is my 28-300 f3.5-5.6.Feedback
To shot an image like this I shot at 100 ISO to minimise noise, fairly wide open and no more than a 15 sec exposure. Taken on a tripod naturally, using a wireless shutter release.
