This is near Crystal Bridges?

Behind The Lens

Location

The photo was made in Bentonville, AR. It was a display close to Crystal Bridges Museum.

Time

Sunrise in a late fall day.. It stated to be cold and crisp.

Lighting

While I was setting up my shot, the sun was up behind the neck of the statue.

Equipment

I used Hasselblad H5x camera with a leaf 50 digital back. The lens was the Hasselblad 24 mm.

Inspiration

I loved the open field with the hay stacks, it is a great representation of the real farm life. It is handwork and surrounded by the open fields of nature.

Editing

Since it was a backlit image, I took an underexposed and overexposed shots and imported them as layers in PS.

In my camera bag

I am a medium format shooter. I tend to have to cameras with a different focal lens attached to each. I don't like to change lenses in the field.

Feedback

The early bird gets the worm. You need the sun to be close to the horizon to get a sunburst where you want it.
