Behind The Lens

Location

On the roof of a hotel Dryanovo, Bulgaria

Time

Early afternoon on a very bright day.

Lighting

A single tube strobe flash used.

Equipment

Canon 6D, Canon EF 24-70mm F/2.8L II USM Zoom Lens, a big strobe flash with generator for it.

Inspiration

Actually the story behind the photo is quite interesting. The Girl on the photo is Marinela Nineva - a Long distance runner champion. I wanted to have a photo session with her, as she is quite unique person. She was working as a receptionist in this hotel. During her small lunch break we manage to find our way to the roof of the hotel: me,her and another person to assist me and all the equipment. We did not have much time, so we needed to do all the photos very quick.
