Behind The Lens

Location

i took this picture in a remote place of Kep Province in Cambodia

Time

it was about 3pm the season was also important: the rice field are on a point to be harvested which give you these amazing super green endless fields

Lighting

the best thing with Cambodia is the light quality, although sometimes it's too strong ( you still can shoot in 50 iso) the sky is most of the time out of any kind of pollution and light is pretty gold.

Equipment

5D mark II lens 24/105 IS USM

Inspiration

this is a typical view of Cambodian landscapes (rice field) this photo was the perfect example of framing techniques and i wanted to try it out.... looks like it worked out ok!

Editing

i just pushed a bit the contrast and the color but slightly.

In my camera bag

Canon 5D II plus Canon 400 D (as spare or long zoom shoot) lens 24/105 50mm macro 70/200

Feedback

that day it was a bit cloudy so in order to get good light , a bit of grain ( noise) and big aperture here were my parameters f/18 1/250 ( no tripod) iso 320
